Blue Hill Advisors is a bank investment and advisory firm focused on U.S. regional and community banks. We operate two complementary businesses:
Blue Hill Capital makes substantial, non-control investments in undervalued or misunderstood banks with clear catalysts for value creation—supporting strategic M&A, balance sheet restructurings, and growth capital for proven leadership teams. We execute these investments through partnerships with family offices and high net worth investors.
Blue Hill Solutions provides ongoing outsourced corporate development, investor relations, and strategic planning services—offering senior-level expertise at a more manageable cost than in-house hires. We act as a seamless extension of your franchise, improving efficiency and freeing up management bandwidth.
Jason Blumberg is the founder and Managing Member of Blue Hill Advisors (BHA), bringing over 15 years of experience in financial services with a focus on U.S. regional and community banks. He began his career in the financial institutions groups of Lazard, Jefferies, and Hovde, advising on M&A and capital raising transactions exceeding $10 billion in value. He later leveraged his sector knowledge and relationships to make concentrated investments in high-conviction banking opportunities at Driver Management and HoldCo Asset Management. His combined experience in advisory and investing provides a differentiated perspective for both banks and investors.
Jason holds a bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, from Amherst College and a master’s degree from Columbia University, where he was a fellowship recipient.
